WTF Blizzard??? The first rule of the internet is NEVER USE YOUR REAL NAME. It still makes me kind of sick every time I post on Facebook under it.

All I can think is that they've never met anyone who has lost their job, had their life ruined, or have had their life threatened by putting identifying information up on the web. I HAVE. LOTS OF THEM.

I canceled my account over this, and gave my reasons in CAPSLOCK OF RAGE. If they don't repeal it, I don't care how much I love the game, I'm not reupping.

I really hope it's not retroactive. I haven't done a lot of trolling, but I've played on and off for like three years, and I don't want my bit of trolling attached to my real name.

Well, that's something. Still, though, this is something I'd quit over on principal.

Plus, I'm a Mac user, so posting on the tech support boards ends up being a tiny bit more important than for PC users.

...I wish I could say that I'm quitting over this on principal. In reality I'm weak, and will probably keep playing and just refuse to use the forums, and hope that I don't end up with a technical issue that forces me there.
