You hold off posting the next story in your fest until the previous gets a set number of comments? Are you fucking kidding me? How is that at all fair to that next author?

Telling me something like that is the surest way to make me not comment. I don't reward asshole guilt trips, even, as in this case, when it's not actually the author's fault.

Fuck you, Secret Angels mods. I didn't care about (or really even notice) your fic fest until now. Now I actively dislike it. Congratulations.

Oh you have got to be kidding me. I didn't like it when McShep Match gave out rewards for the people who commented the most. I want people commenting on my fic because they like it not because they're trying to get a prize or have been guilt tripped by a mod.

It's not like it's not widely known that a lot of people have the same reaction I do to comment guilt trips. I saw it recently in a "writing fanfiction" primer, actually.

Also, I feel terrible for the authors who might feel embarrassed to be involved in this against their will.
